Nokia Navigator 6710, 6110, 6210 Review
In this post I’m going to do a review of Nokia Navigator Series i.e., the review of Nokia Navigator 6710, Nokia Navigator 6110 and Nokia Navigator 6210. As you know, these three Nokia mobiles are the most popular versions in the Navigator series. Nokia Navigator 6710 is the successor to 6210 and 6210 is the successor to Nokia 6110 Navigator. The versions 6110 and 6210 have been discontinued but the journey of the Navigator 6710 still continues.
Nokia Navigator 6110
The 6110 version of Nokia Navigator was announced on February 2007 and came with the dimensions 101x49x20mm weighing 125g. The display is TFT with 16M colors and has approximately 182 ppi pixel density. The phone has an internal memory if 40MB running on a 128MB RAM and can have a microSD card of up to 8 GB. The device has both Bluetooth and USB connectivity but lacks WLAN connectivity. The GPRS is of Class 32 with 107/64.2 kbps. There is a loudspeaker in the phone with stereo speakers and have vibrations, MP3, AAC ringtones and downloadable polyphonic as alert types. The 6110 is running on Symbian OS vp.2 and has a primary camera with 2 megapixels; moreover there is video recording with LED flash. The battery is Li-Po 900 mAh and has a talk time of 3 hours and 30 minutes on both 2G and 3G networks. The navigator 6110 is available on colors like white and black and has built-in maps.
Nokia Navigator 6210
The version 6210 was released on 2008 July but has been discontinued now. The device weighs about 117g with dimensions 103x49x14.9 mm and the display is same as that of the 6110 but is of 167 ppi pixel density. This too can have an external microSD card of up to 8 GB and had an internal memory of 120 MB with 128 MB RAM. It too has both Bluetooth and USB connectivity but lacks the WLAN like the 6110 series. The primary camera is of 3.15 megapixels and is video recording enabled. The phone runs on Symbian OS 9.3 with 369 MHz ARM 11 processor. The sensors like accelerometer and compass are included in the phone and the device is available in colors such as red and black. The phone is powered by a Li-ion 950 mAh battery and has a talk time up to 3 hours and 40 minutes on a 2G network.
Nokia Navigator 6710
Nokia Navigator 6710 was released on 2009 August and is still available. The device has dimensions 104.8x50x14.9 mm and weighs nearly 117g. The phone has a TFT display of 240×320 pixels having 154 ppi pixel densities approximately also there is a touch sensitive zoom bar below the display. In spite of the 4 GB included memory the card is extendable up to 16 GB and has a 50MB internal memory running on a Symbian OS 9.3 powered by 600 MHz ARM 11 processor. The phone has both Bluetooth and USB connectivity and in addition has the Wi-Fi connectivity. The primary camera of the phone is of 5MP and has Carl Zeiss optics along with LED flash and autofocus. The phone is available on colors like titanium, brown and black and there is a lifetime vehicle voice-guided navigation license. The phone runs on Li-Ion 950 mAh battery and has talk time of about 7 hours and 30 minutes on a 2G connection and of 4 hours and 30 minutes on a 3G network.
My Verdict
I am at the verdict that, the Nokia Navigator series is really a good piece of work and is very useful and affordable for all kinds of people. Since the production of the Nokia Navigator 6110 and 6210 has been stopped, I would like to suggest you to own a Nokia Navigator 6710 as fast as possible.
