Nokia Lumia 620 is one of the most awaited smartphones. There are many affordable Windows Phones launched by Nokia and Lumia 620 is also one of the budget smartphones available out there. Nokia Lumia 620 comes with the same features as of the other Lumia devices like the Nokia Lumia 820 and the Lumia 920 but is available at a price lowed than both these models and is available in a compact form. Design

Nokia Lumia 620 comes with a compact sport factor. The device is bit thicker than the Lumia 610 and is available in multiple colours. The colours in which you can get your Lumia 620 are black, yellow, white, cyan, lime green and magenta. The entire back of the device is covered with the back cover of the device. Coming to the display of the device, you will get a 3.8-inch display on your Nokia Lumia 620. The display comes with three capacitive buttons which are for Start, back and search operations. Volume rockers, power/lock along with the camera buttons are placed on the right side of the Lumia 620.

Display

Coming to the display of the Nokia Lumia 620, you will get a 3.8-inch display of the device which will deliver resolution of 480 X 800 pixels. You will get 246 ppi with the display of the Lumia 620. The viewing angles were pretty good on display of the device and we loved the display as the colours were live and vivid. As the display is a clearback LCD display you will be able to access it easily under the bright sunlight. The touch of the device is responsive which we really loved.

Camera

The device comes with a 5 mega pixel camera which comes fitted with the dual LED flash. As Lumia 620 is a Windows Phone you will get all the Windows Phone apps on the device. The camera app comes with amazing effects and features which will get you the best photos possible. The camera app comes with a lot of amazing settings like selecting scenes, white balance, ISO, saturation, contrast, flash and many others. Nokia Lumia 620 comes with bing vision, cinemagraph, smart shoot lenses and Panorama. The device also comes with a front camera which is a VGA camera. You can use the front camera of the device with several video chatting apps like Skype, Tango. You can easily record videos at 720p HD and that too at 29 frames per second. When we recorded a couple of videos we were happy with the results.

Hardware

Let’s talk about the thing which runs the Nokia Lumia 620. The device comes with a dual core 1Ghz Snapdragon processor. You will get 512 MB Ram with the device and Adreno 305 as the GPU on the Lumia 620. The device comes with 8 GB internal storage option and you can also add an external micro SD card of storage space up to 64 GB in the device. Windows 8 operating system doesn’t consume a lot of power so you don’t need to worry about the drainage of battery on your Lumia 620. When we tested games and apps on our Lumia 620 we didn’t experience any lags or issues on our device.

User Interface and Software

Nokia Lumia 620 comes with Windows Phone 8 operating system. A lot of improvements and features are seen in this version of Windows 8. Some of the features which you will get in your Windows 8 powered Lumia 620 are multi core processor compatibility, enhanced performance, USSD commands support, NFC and resizable live tiles. Nokia has also included a few apps like Here Maps, Nokia Music, Here Drive + in the Lumia 620 smartphone.
