Lumia 950 XL Review

Lumia 950 XL is the latest Windows smartphone which has been launched by Microsoft. The device comes with a big display screen and will compete the top Android and iOS devices. Lumia 950 XL is going to be the first windows mobile phone which will come with Windows 10 operating system running out of the box. The device comes with a big 5.7-inch display screen which means you need to use it with two hands. The large screen has been put to best use as you can add extra icons and powerful hardware is packed beneath the display.

Design and Display

The Lumia 950 XL is quite similar to the Lumia 950 smartphone. The device comes with matte black or white color and is made up of polycarbonate material. The volume, camera, lock buttons are present on the right side of the device. Lumia 950 XL is the first windows phone to come with USB Type C port which is located at the bottom of the device.

The resolution of the Lumia 950 XL is same as that of the Lumia 950 which is 2160 X 1440 pixels and delivers pixel density of 518 ppi which is better than what you will get in the iPhone 6S Plus. The display is the AMOLED display and comes with protection of corning gorilla glass 4. Nokia 950 XL can’t be considered as luxury device as it still comes with plastic body, however one can easily hold the device as is it easy to maintain grip on this big 5.7-inch phablet.

One of the best things which you would love about the Lumia 950 XL is the powerful camera. You get a 20 mega pixel Pureview camera in the device and along with it triple LED flash. Optical image stabilization, recording 4K videos with Zeiss optics are some of the features which you will get in the rear shooter of the device. The front camera is a 5 Mega pixel one which comes with wide angle which will help you in capturing amazing selfies and also recording videos in 1080p HD.

The specifications of the Lumia 950 XL are quite identical to its sibling. The device comes with a QUALCOMM Snapdragon 810 chipset processor which is a 64 bit processor. The device comes with 3 GB of RAM which brings easy multitasking and good performance on the Lumia 950 XL. There is 32 GB inbuilt storage on the Nokia Lumia 950 XL but you can always add external micro SD card of storage space up to 2 TB. The device will comes with a 3,340 mAh battery which will provide good backup during gaming and also while making calls.
