1. Open Nokia Icon Builder.

2. Click on the Upload Image button and select any image on your computer that you want to make it as icon.

3. Once image is uploaded, you will be able to see it in the Yellow portion. By using the transform controls you can adjust the size and location of icon on the uploaded image.

4. Once you have adjusted the icon size and location on the image, Simply click on the Save Icon button from left panel to save the generated icon on your computer.

5. Once you have downloaded the icon on your computer, then you can view or move it to your phone using the data cable or bluetooth.

Nokia Icon Builder comes with some button that helps to generate perfect icon by adding some awesome effects like adding Fx, blending and shadow in the icon. Here, we are going to talk about the use of buttons:

Mask: Once you have uploaded the image on the Nokia Icon Builder, you will be able to see the uploaded image in the left transparent section. Mask, helps to hide the rest of image except the icon preview.

Mask color: Mask color is available in two colors i.e Black and white. You can use any of the color, in which you are more comfortable.

Fx: It helps to add some visual effects in the icon.

Blending: It adds blending effect on the icon. You may find this tool useful if you wants inverse color in the icon.

Shadow: It adds shadow in the icon. Shadow will be previewed in the final icon saved on your compputer.
